Since she was a little girl growing up in Jamaica, Kalonda was always concerned about the oppression that black people on the island and around the world face. She is proud to be able to offer solutions to that oppression through her organizing background and her writing.

This blog is a home to all of Kalonda’s passions. Because like freedom fighter Steve Biko, Kalonda “writes what she likes.”
